Summer 2014 ~ Things to Do in and around Paris

Have a camera?  In or around Paris this summer?  Here is a short list of fun things to do:

7 to 8 June -

• Bievre International Photofair ~ Large photoshow and swap-meet

14 to 15 June -

•  Renaissance Festival ~ Men and women dressed up in medieval garb

2 to 6 July -

• Japan Expo 2014 ~ Anime, Manga, Cosplay, Lolita.  It's how France's youth "puts on the dog."

4 to 6 July -

• Le Mans Classic ~ Old cars running at Le Mans 

3 August -

• La traversee de Paris estivale ~ Old cars running around the streets of Paris

Year round -

• La Rotonde de Longueville ~ steam locomotives.  Lots of them.  Some working.  Some not.  My Flickr images can be seen here.
  
• Catacombs ~ the remains of millions of Parisians.  Take your own flashlight for the darker, creepier areas. My Flickr images can be seen here.

• Carnival de Paris ~ Fun filled parade of Trolls and Faeries.
